mountain sport bike
i really want a mountain bike under $500 what brand or model should i get??-jonathan?
please tell me what mountain bike to get im looking for either a specialised hardrock sport 2007 , malvernstar rocktrail 2008 or a diamondback response 08
I’m guessing, based on the bikes you are looking at, that you are new to mountain biking. If you are just learning, and you are looking to take this bike out on some fun, easy trails, then these are all great bikes. To your list, I would add the the Cannondale F7 Disc.

I would put the Specialized at the top of your list, and the Cannondale pretty close if not above it.
I disagree with the post that said you should buy a better model used. Unless you are already an experienced rider who is looking to do some intermediate to expert-level trail riding, any of the bikes you mentioned are fine.
