I have a Suzuki Bandit tire question?
I have a 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600. The back tire is a 160/60/ZR17. I want to know if I can replace the tire with a 180/55/ZR17. I need to know if the wider rear tire will fit on the stock rim?
No the 180 is too wide for the swing arm and brake linkage. there is no advantages to going that wide on your 600. At high speeds a tire rounds shrinking the contact patch which is why most 1 liter sports ride a 180 or 190 wide. At 150ish you really only make contact w/ about 1 inch of tire when your on a straight.
